Who this playbook is for, what you'll make with Higgsfield, and how to use it.

This playbook is a course on making AI videos for TikTok with Higgsfield, without burning credits on runs you throw away. Genjutsu, the tool that rebuilds an existing clip, is the main section. Around it, the course covers the platform, what each plan really costs per finished video, the other Higgsfield tools worth knowing, how to post the result, and how to grow a TikTok page.
Who this is for
It's for you if you make short vertical videos, you want AI in them, and you'd rather start from real footage than from a text prompt. Genjutsu doesn't generate a video from nothing. You give it one existing clip, real or AI-made, and it rebuilds part of it without a reshoot. So you'll get the most from this if you work from clips you have the rights to use: your own footage, stock footage, or a creator's clip used with their permission.
You don't need to have used Higgsfield before. Chapter 02 starts at account creation.
It isn't for using anyone's face or footage without their permission. Higgsfield's Terms of Use (affiliate link, opens in a new tab) make you responsible for having consent from everyone who appears in what you upload, and they set a minimum age for using the service. Rules and Risk covers both, along with copyright and takedowns.
What you'll be able to make
Genjutsu has two modes. Motion Transfer keeps your clip's motion, camera movement and timing, and rebuilds the character or the whole scene from reference images you supply. Object Swap replaces one thing, such as a character, an outfit, a product, a location or an object, and keeps the rest of the shot. Higgsfield's launch post (affiliate link, opens in a new tab) suggests uses like style swaps, wardrobe changes, ad variations for different markets, and turning a raw phone clip into something that looks like a commercial.
In practice that could be you walking down your street, rebuilt as an original anime character who keeps your movement and timing. Or a friend's dance clip with their outfit swapped for one you designed, and the rest of the shot left as it was.
Each run takes one source clip between 4 and 30 seconds long, plus up to 30 reference images. The result comes back at 480p, 720p or 1080p and runs about as long as your source. You pay per second, from 3 credits/s at 480p up to 11 credits/s at 1080p. Inputs and Limits has the full spec and the cost math.

I'm Jake (@jxkeframes (opens in a new tab) on TikTok). I'm a full-stack web and AI developer, and I run Werner's Works, a freelance web and AI studio. On TikTok I make AI videos of content creators and streamers. I made this playbook as a course to teach you how to make videos like these.
This is an independent guide, not an official Higgsfield product. The Higgsfield name appears here only to describe their tools.

Free chapters and progress
Two chapters are free for anyone: this one and the Genjutsu Overview. They carry a Free tag in the sidebar. The rest come with the paid playbook.
Each chapter ends with a Mark as read button. The sidebar then marks that chapter and keeps a count of how many you've read. Progress is saved in this browser only, so it won't follow you to another device, and clearing your site data resets it.

Prices and dates
Every Higgsfield price, credit rate and limit in this playbook comes from one data file, last checked on Sep 24, 2026. The text, tables and calculator all read from it, so they always agree. Pages that state Higgsfield facts show a Last verified date under the title, and every table lists its source and check date underneath.
Higgsfield changes prices often, and it doesn't show every visitor the same plans. The lineup you see can depend on your device and on a setting Higgsfield assigns your browser. Treat the numbers here as a dated snapshot. What you actually pay is what Higgsfield's pricing page (affiliate link, opens in a new tab) shows you, and the credit cost on the Generate button before you run anything.
Check it yourself
Some things Higgsfield hasn't published, or states two different ways. Those never appear here as plain fact. They sit in a box labeled Check it yourself, which says what Higgsfield does and doesn't say, tells you how to check it on your own account, and links to the official page. In tables, a figure Higgsfield hasn't published carries the date it was last seen, with a reminder to check it in the app. Here's a real one:

The Changelog lists what changed in the playbook and when. Check it when you come back after a break.
